How SmoothEye® works

The Fotona SmoothEye® treatment is a non-surgical laser eye lift that works by directing concentrated laser light at the under-eye area using the Fotona Er:YAG mode. This eye tightening procedure significantly firms loose and aging skin around the eyelids and periocular region by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production. The superficial skin heating encourages collagen remodeling and initiates a process called neocollagenesis, which helps strengthen and restore skin elasticity. The result is an overall improvement in fine lines, sagging, and under-eye wrinkles, giving the eye area a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

Before your appointment

To ensure the best possible treatment experience, we always begin with a complimentary consultation, allowing us to understand your unique needs and concerns. During this initial appointment, we will take the time to gather comprehensive information about your medical history. On the day of your treatment

Before treatment, you’ll be given eye protection to wear during the procedure. Concentrated laser light is directed at the under eye area and the procedure takes only approximately 10-20 minutes. The procedure is non-invasive and requires no downtime afterwards.

after your treatment

You’ll notice immediate results after treatment, and will continue to see an improvement in the coming weeks as increased collagen production improves the firmness in the under eye area. 

FAQ

For initial treatment, we recommend starting with 3-4 sessions spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. After that, you can come in for annual maintenance sessions to maintain your results. During your consultation we can assess your skin condition and give a treatment recommendation tailored to your needs.

You can expect to see an immediate brightening and freshening of the undereye area after treatment. As this process stimulates your natural collagen production, the most significant results will develop gradually over the coming weeks, with the full results of the treatment being visible after two months.
