The procedure itself may be slightly uncomfortable, with most patients reporting a slight warming and/or prickling sensation. A topical numbing cream can be used to minimize any discomfort. After the treatment, you may experience some redness or tenderness of the skin for several days as the skin heals. We recommend avoiding sun exposure to the area for approximately 4 weeks after treatment.

For new patients, we recommend starting out with 3-5 treatments, spread approximately 2-4 weeks apart. Your treatment recommendation will vary depending on your skin condition and the concerns you wish to have treated, as well as how long the healing process is expected to take in between sessions.

Since this treatment is aimed at addressing skin concerns at the root, the results will be seen gradually over time as your body produces collagen and your skin condition improves. The full results can be seen between 3-6 months after treatment and varies per person.
