This treatment should only be administered by a licensed medical professional. At You Derma, our medical aesthetics team consists of license nurses, expertly trained in administering KYBELLA® in Ottawa.
After your KYBELLA® treatment, it’s recommended to avoid any heavy exercise or strenuous activities for 24 hours. You should also avoid extreme temperatures for up to 24 hours (such as heat from hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms). To minimize swelling, cut out alcohol and sodium for 72 hours after treatment, and try to sleep on your back with your head elevated.
Always consult with your injector to find out whether treatments can be combined. KYBELLA® can be combined with other treatments such as neuromodulators like Botox. We can recommend the best treatment scheduling for combining treatments.
KYBELLA® injections are relatively painless. You may feel some discomfort during the injection but we can offer a pain management solution if you are feeling nervous.
KYBELLA® is a synthetic form of a naturally occurring molecule in the body so the results mimic a natural process. This means your results will not be fake or unnatural looking, especially when administered by a licensed professional.
There’s no need to be nervous when coming in for your first appointment. Our clinic is a safe, comfortable environment and we’re here to help! If you’re feeling nervous, let your injector know so they can help you relax during treatment.
If you have any questions about this treatment and how it works, let us know! Book a consultation with us. We’re always happy to answer any questions you might have about our Ottawa KYBELLA® treatment.
